Our Steamin’ Whisky tour begins in Aviemore, departing at 10:30 am aboard The Strathspey Steam Railway for a delightful 50 minute journey – simply sit back and relax as you take in the stunning scenery in the shadow of the mighty Cairngorms.
Look out for varied wildlife from wildcats, red squirrels to osprey found in this area as we take a short stop at Boat of Garten, then onwards to Broomhill where you will alight and be met by your chauffeur / guide for the second part of this memorable vintage travel experience.
A beautiful vintage Bentley awaits, where you will be driven in style, luxury and comfort up into the Wilderness known as Glenlivet – a memorable drive into some of Scotland’s most rugged scenery. Nestled deep in the dramatic scenery of Speyside & Moray, in the shadows of Glen Rinnies, Glenlivet has a reputation unrivalled by any other.
Explore the turbulent history of the Whisky smugglers; delve into the enigmatic world of distilling and sample the single malt that started it all way back in 1824. Included in this tour will be a complimentary dram of The Glenlivet and a light lunch in The Glenlivet’s own restaurant.
We will return you to Broomhill on yet another scenic route along historic military roads in time for your return train journey which will depart at 3:50pm, arriving back in Aviemore for around 4:30pm
